Usually Designers keep standard width and height forms. Column forms are usually non pre-stressed and can be made up of steel or wood. Rectangular beams can be cast in or made in specially fabricated battery moulds.
Advantages:-- The column form-work consists of a form-work basis with a fixed centre platform and movable side platforms.
- Shutter panel cantilevers (corbels) can be mounted on this at variable intervals or modular dimensions.
- Shutter panel elements range in length from 1.5 to 6 m and are made of steel with special shutter materials to ensure optimal surface characteristics of the components.
- The height of the shutter panel cantilevers ranges from 600 to 1,200 mm (sides and centre).
- Shutter thickness: 6 - 8 mm.
- They can be combined with each other in any way and also allow for the use of special shutter applications, for example, for crane cantilevers.
- The height of the continuous slab form-work can be adjusted using special supports and the form-work can be quickly replaced, if needed.
