Abutments

M. S. plates of 10mm thick are used for Abutment. On the 2 ends (Dead End & Live End) of Concrete platform / casting bed (lengthwise) the Abutment steel plates are Embedded 2 feet below the ground level. The carbon steel wires of 2 – 5 mm Dia. are passed through these plates & stressed with the stressing machine.

The Abutment's Design & stressing capacity should be such that it is suitable for thicker hollow core slabs manufacture in future.

Stressing / Tensioning machine for Pre-Stressing

It is most compact & one of our latest new developments. The carbon steel wires of 2 – 5 mm Dia. are passed through the abutment plates & are locked with self-locking clips or grips. The function of the equipment is, when geared motor is operated the drum starts rotating, there by it stresses & pulls Carbon Steel Wire. The stressing is controlled by the on / off switch which starts & stops the rotation of wire wound drum.

Locking Clips / Grips

The 2 ends of the carbon steel wire are locked with Clips or Grips (as shown in picture) before it being stressed by wire wound stressing machine. The clips can hold carbon steel wire / tor steel wire of 2 to 5 mm in Diameter. Please ensure that Locking Clip / Grips are cleaned properly before use.

Coil Dispensing Stand / Pay off Stand

Manufacturer supplies carbon steel wires in coil bundles. By placing this Coils bundle of 2 – 5 mm Diameter in the coil dispensing stand, the Dispensing or pulling of wires gets effortless & even the wire do not entangled in the coil bundle.
